In Buenos Aires, a remainder of tickets went back on sale ahead of the friendly match between the Argentine national team and Mauritania, scheduled for Friday, March 27. According to the Argentine News Agency (NA), the tickets are digital—they do not need to be picked up physically, as happened with the first batch—and are sold from $90,000. Following the suspension of the Finalissima, which would have pitted the team against Spain, and the cancellation of another friendly against Guatemala, Argentina will play Mauritania this Friday at 8:15 PM at the Alberto J. Armando stadium, popularly known as "La Bombonera". The scandals at the Argentine Football Association (AFA) continue: the latest episode was the reopening of sales for a remainder of tickets, estimated at around 15,000. The first batch went on sale on Monday, March 23, with prices aligned with those charged in the South American qualifiers: popular sections from $90,000 and premium stands that reached up to $490,000. Despite those prices, the national team reported that the tickets sold out that same Monday, although they expected a number to be reserved for sponsors. Anyway, a remainder estimated at 15,000 tickets was offered again on Thursday, a day before the friendly; the popular sections remained at the official price, and some stands in one of the end zones were offered for $163,000. With a total capacity of 57,000 people, "La Bombonera" is not expected to reach its maximum capacity in what will be the penultimate friendly match for the national team in the country before the 2026 World Cup in Canada, the United States, and Mexico.
